Meet Sultan Of The Bohra Community
The Official Spokesman for the Presidency stated that the President began the meeting by welcoming Sultan Mufaddal Saifuddin,
who is a dear guest in Egypt. He praised the deep historical relations between Egypt and the Bohra community.
He also commended the community's commendable efforts in restoring and renovating the shrines of the Prophet's family and a number of historic Egyptian mosques.
These efforts complement the Egyptian state's efforts to achieve development and renovate historic Cairo, The President also witnessed the development and charitable project undertaken by the community in Egypt, in partnership with the Tahya Misr Fund.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson, noted that Sultan Mufaddal,
for his part, expressed his deep gratitude for the warm welcome he has received during his visits to Egypt,
affirming his special appreciation for the President, who is always keen to receive him.
He also commended Egypt's ongoing development efforts and comprehensive renaissance across various sectors, in parallel with the consolidation of the principles of citizenship and tolerance.
The official spokesman added that Sultan Mufaddal commended Egypt's leadership role in the region in promoting peace, security,
and stability, noting its tireless efforts to de-escalate the situation in the region,
most notably its efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
